She's A Crafty Girl!
I have so many hobbies, it's a little out of control! You'll have to pry my tools from my cold dead hands, but in the meantime, have a look at some of the stuff I've made.
I started knitting in 2010, and like many knitters, had a rough start- but once I got hooked, I couldn’t stop! I would practice knitting different swatches endlessly, and am still always learning new techniques. There isn’t any one type of project I prefer knitting, but I tend to gravitate towards patterns that have a lot of texture. I work at a yarn store that specializes in hand-dyed yarn, and I really love the depth of color these yarns have! More of my knitting can be found on my Ravelry page.
Sweet Dreams
Close up of a lace shawl with beads. This took forever to knit, but I enjoyed every second of it!
Age of Brass & Steam
Heavier weight yarn give this shawlette some serious body, and the color is perfect for fall.
Dark Rock Blues
A fun mix of colors and yarn weights give this cardigan a lot of interest and texture.
Irish Rose Headband
A beautiful headband that combines crochet and knitting, with a cute button from my stash.
Worthington Cowl
I love this cowl, designed by a local knitter. Knit up in a opaline color, I ended up gifting this to a dear friend.
Mary Mary
Soft merino wool gives excellent stitch definition, and the sparkling buttons were a lucky find. This was an intense knit!
